INCREDIBLE HULK #7.1
WHAT COULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE FOR ALL CAPS FRIDAY THAN ARTHUR ADAMS’ RENDERINGS OF GODZILLA AND HIS MERRY MENAGERIE OF KAIJU KILLERS REDUCING A MAJOR METROPOLITAN AREA TO SMOLDERING RUBBLE.
CORRECT REACTION, SUE. CARRY ON.
I can’t wait for MellowHype to drop numbers like DC Comics. Daaamn, that was a super nerdy way to say I can’t wait for Numbers after seeing that new 64 video.
Seriously, that new song is dope as fuck. Mellowhype is too epic. Saw the BBC performance of 65 which was equally dope but nowhere near as heavy. Thanks for looking.
villalobos is rad
Batman and Robin 1,000,000 by Craig Cermak and me, Ramon Villalobos. Craig drew Robin and the background while I drew Batman as well as coloring it once we put it together. It goes without saying that this is a tribute to Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s first issue of Batman and Robin and it’s instantly iconic cover.
This is the first post of Craig and Ramon’s sketch-blog we’re we’ll try to put up a sketch a day. Odds are we’ll immediately fall behind but we’ll see how this goes.
-Ramon Villalobos
Alright, getting this in ten minutes before the day’s up. This is Superdemon from Earth 17. Grant Morrison did a sketch of him in the Final Crisis Secret Files and described him as being “hurled to earth from the doomed planet Kamelot, by the astro-magics of Merlin, The Demon Etrigan took up residence in the body of a Midwestern preacher’s son, Jason Blood. Jason’s indomitable will tamed with the unruly demon and he learned how to use its great powers in defense of Earth 17, a spooky Halloween world where magic and science co-exist.” So that’s awesome. I hope this is one of the multiversity books.
Also, it goes without saying this is an homage to All Star Superman because… why not?
